For the perfect extraction of coffee, the Chemex is a favorite among coffee connoisseurs around the world. The Chemex pour-over style utilizes the special Chemex paper filter designed to effectively remove coffee oils and sediment for a clean, bright and flavorful cup of coffee.

Coffee to Water Ratio: 75g/1,130g

Brew Time: 2.5 - 3 minutes

Grind: Medium-Coarse Setting

1. Weigh out 75 grams of coffee beans and grind on medium-coarse setting.

2. Wet your paper filter with hot water to rinse it prior to brewing.

3. Discard the water from the vessel and evenly pour grinds into the filter.

4. Pour about 110 grams of water, wetting all grounds allow coffee to "bloom"

for 40 seconds.

5. In a spiral pattern, pour remaining water slowly over the coffee grounds,

saturating all grounds. Avoid hitting the filter with water.

6. Allow the coffee to drip through, then remove the filter.
