French Press
Known for its simplistic brewing method the French Press produces an earthy, rich-tasting cup of coffee. The coffee is made by immersing the coffee grounds in hot water and then separating the grounds from the coffee by pressing down the filter. Let’s get started!
French Press (12oz)
Freshly Roasted Coffee
Kettle
Filtered Water
Gram Scale

Coffee to Water Ratio: 80g/800g
Brew Time: 4 Minutes
Grind: Coarse Setting
1. Weigh out 80 grams of coffee beans and grind to resemble coarse sea salt.
2. Boil 800 grams of water
3. Pour ground coffee into a French Press vessel.
4. In a counter-clockwise motion, pour all of the boiling water over the coffee grounds making sure to saturate all of the grounds, while setting your timer for 4 minutes.
5. Set the lid on the French Press, but do not press done.
6. When the timer goes off, genty press the plunger all the way to the bottom.
7. Immediately pour the coffee into from the French Press into your favorite mug.
